Happy Valentines Day

Clayton and I had a wonderful Valentines Day! It started out with Clayton waking up before me and making me breakfast in bed. If you look closely, there are heart and lip shaped pancakes! He was pretty proud of himself and I was pretty excited too! He even brought me my own little cup of syrup and a glass of milk to go with it! I loved it! It made me feel pretty special. We had decided to not get gifts for each other this year, but rather to just spend the day together, and so to know that he had planned this little "homemade gift" on his own made me feel special.
We went to lunch and then went to Sam's Club... Very romantic, I know! But hey, we were together! We got a new printer/copier/scanner which Clayton has been wanting for a while. We went home and tried to set it up, but it was broken! So Clayton had to go take it back... But we got the 2nd one to work, THANK HEAVENS!
We just bummed out together at home, then went out to dinner to the Pizza Factory, which was absolutely delicious! We don't go there very often, so it was fun to make the day a little different... It was fun!
On the way home, Clayton was commenting on the fact that even though I have been singing since I was 5, he's never really heard me sing other than hymns at church. So we came home and Clayton got out his guitar and we tried to find some songs online for him to play and for me to sing along with him so that he could hear me sing. We didn't end up really finding anything we could do together, but Clayton sat and taught himself how to play some new songs for a while. I love to just sit and listen to him play! He is very good and I love to see him doing things he loves.
We then found a movie On Demand and stayed up way too late to watch it! But it was fun to just be together and just love each other. I love Clayton so much and he is a wonderful husband, and will be an excellent Daddy! I love him with all my heart and consider myself pretty darn lucky to be with him. I love you sweetheart! Hope your Valentines Day was as good as mine! :o)
