I thought I'd give everyone a little bit of a bigger than the one Clayton left earlier. Things have been pretty crazy with Clayton working and finishing up school and I'm getting ready to finish out my first year of teaching... Things have been a little bit hectic. But we've been having fun. We had a fun time with Momma Romberg to start out the month of May. She came down for Women's Conference and stayed with us while she was here. I was so excited to be able to entertain my very first house guest, and who better than my wonderful mother-in-law! Thank you for staying with us Valerie! It was a blast!
During that time, I was getting a bit panicked about finding a teaching job for next year. Because I'm an intern, they weren't able to hold my position for me, so I went out into the dark world of job hunting to fen for myself. After getting rejected from several jobs, I was (basically) offered my dream job right on the spot at the interview! So, I will be teaching 3rd grade at Freedom Elementary! GO FALCONS! :o) It will be fun to because my cousins Jenae and Corbin both send their kids there, so I'll be close to some family as well! I am excited to be working with the teachers I've met up there so far and couldn't be more thrilled with the ideas they already have! Although this year was a bit of a trial (some of you had the privilege of hearing about the adventures of my class,) I have had touching moments with each of them and I will miss them a lot. But I am so excited to get a new group! But I feel like I've been rambling about myself...
Clayton is still working at Directpointe and loves it there! However, he's LITERALLY counting down the days and hours until our big Clear Lake trip this summer with his family (as you can see here to your right! :o) ). I think the most exciting part of it for me is simply that he is so exited! He's like a kid at Christmas when we talk about Clear Lake and I can't wait.
We've taken a few random pictures that I'll post for you when I get home. One of my "Summer Resolutions" is to take more pictures of the things Clayton and I do... So we'll see how that goes! Right now I'm in my classroom listening to my class visit while they work... But I suppose I should get them back together. You gotta let them have some freedom right? After all, who isn't going crazy with only 6 more days of school! I'm with them! Hope this is a good update for everyone, and I'll try to get some random pictures of us up soon so you can have something to look at!

Clayton and I met in Provo while we were both going to school. After only a short 8 weeks, we fell in love and he proposed. We were married 2 months later on August 7th, 2007. I am now staying at home and being a full time mommy, which I LOVE! Clayton works for Attask in Lehi and absolutely loves his job as their IT Administrator. We welcomed our son Zackary on May 5, 2009 and love having him in our home and love him so much! Max joined our family as our "Leap Day Baby" on February 29, 2012 and he is so sweet and happy! Life couldn't be better, and we are excited for what is to come!

Kristie... I found your blog on Cathryn's blog! Yay! Congrats on the teaching job!! 3rd grade rocks! I love how you have a countdown for Clearlake. I have a countdown for my baby and I swear it makes the days go by slower; I don't think the number ever changes, lol. Hope you're doing well!
Love ya, Shannon
