I was talking to Kacie (my sister) about becoming a mom and questions I had as this pregnancy comes to a close. This was about 4 weeks ago, but she told me, "at this point, you think you could pop any second. But once it gets closer, you'll feel like the day will never come!" I've kept that in mind as I now have less than 2 weeks to go... And I have to say, in some ways she was pretty right! While at some moments, I feel like I should have my bags packed because I'm going to burst at any second, other times I get so impatient and think he's never coming and I've really just gained massive amounts of weight in the past 9 months instead of gaining a child! I don't want to sound like I'm complaining, but I am just SO excited! Clayton told me that a friend of ours just told her baby to come and talked the baby into coming... And she had a baby! So, I have been trying to talk this little guy into making an early appearance and all the benefits he'd get if he did! So far, no luck... But we'll see how it goes!
I have actually been very comfortable and have had a great pregnancy though! I would hear all these horror stories about the pains and agony of being pregnant... But I haven't experienced that! I pretty much, for the most part, feel the same as I did when I wasn't pregnant, and it's been that way the whole 9 months! I'm pretty lucky I suppose! I've loved being pregnant the whole time!

I saw on my Google Reader that you had a new post and I got all excited assuming the little guy had arrived. We can't wait to hear! We'll keep you in our prayers . . . healthy, healthy, healthy . . . good luck!
Haha Kristie your so funny! I too would like an early arrival! You just better have Clayton call us when you go into labor so we can be sure to visit with you!
We're praying for you here in Iowa. Hoping for a healthy baby and smooth delivery. I'll keep my fingers crossed that he comes early...can't wait to see him! :)
We are all excited and anxiously waiting to meet the newest family member.
As Bob Barker would say:
"Come on down!"
Good Luck! I totally know how you feel! You are way lucky that you have had such a good pregnancy! I was sick for 9 months, don't get me wrong I would do all over again for my sweet little girl! They are for sure worth the sickness and the wait! When you have him, it will feel like he has always been there!
