Clayton and I debated on what to do for this weekend. One thing was for sure, was that we would be watching the BYU vs. Oklahoma game. Anything past that, Clayton didn't really care! :) We loved watching the game with Kyle and Heather and were THRILLED that they won! I tried to get Zack to "hang with the guys," but they were screaming so loud that Zack would give me a look that said, "What's happening? HELP ME!" So we hung out away from the screaming men... One day he'll be one of those screaming men in front of the TV! But he did get decked out in his BYU attire and got somewhat excited for the game... :)
I voted that we hit up some Labor Day sales on Monday, and see what happens. We stopped in at I.M Home, Lowes, and R.C. Willey... and then we found it... A friendly little man at R.C. Willey convinced us to purchase a new washer and dryer. Apparently this LG washer and dryer is the best on the market right now, and we got a really good deal for it! It also has steaming capabilities, which I am excited about and which will be really nice! We've only thrown in a couple loads, but so far it's proven to be great. Even the beep when your laundry is done is pleasant! It sings a little song rather than giving an annoying BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! noise. This meant that Clayton didn't get the sound system he wanted, but maybe one day when we are filthy rich... :) He's so sweet and easy to compromise for me! I try not to ask him for much, but when I do, he is so good to me. I have the best husband in the world! So, if you know anyone who wants to buy our old set for $200, let us know! Our ad is on Craigslist too! Here is the process of setting it up...
I laid down towels all through the house so Clayton could wheel the old ones out onto the patio until they sell, and to wheel the new ones in without ruining the carpet. We accidentally dinged a doorknob in the process, but other than that, we had a successful transition. The doorknob does make me a little sad... But what can you do!?
R.C. Willey had ordered 80 of these machines for this sale, plus a floor model. They had already sold all 80 by the time we got there at 3:00pm! So we got the floor models. So the best they could do was wrap them up good for us and send us on our way. So we set each of them individually in the kitchen while we moved the old ones out.
My fabulous (and might I add, BUFF) husband got the washer in on his own, and here he taking a break before we lifted it up on the platforms they sit on.
Zack was a great help! Poor little guy had gotten hardly any attention because we'd been running around price matching and he was stuck in his car seat all day. When we got home, the poor little guy just needed to be held and loved. But when he needed to be set down so Mommy could help Dad lift the machines up, he sat and watched and was supportive from his Bumbo. :) Cute kid!
And when all was said and done, this is how they look in our laundry room all set up! I apologize for the side view... Our laundry room is a bit narrow, so I can't get a good shot standing in front of them! We really like them... But Clayton says that next time we do this, we'll pay the extra $60 to have someone from R.C. Willey do it all for us! HE WAS EXHAUSTED! But I appreciate him for doing this and all the effort he put in to get these in and ready to use! They are great and I'm excited to use them more. Thanks Clayton! I owe you a nice sound system one day! ;)

I don't know if you have heard but, they sell doorknobs at a place called HOME DEPOT if the ding really bothers you. :) They look great. Let us know how that steamer function works.
Woa.... so jealous of your washer and dryer. We once had a washer and dryer... than we moved to Boston... it's a sad story really. (Not Boston but the loss of the w & d) So Lily had the same BYU shirt last year--- SO ADORABLE! Z-man looks pretty dang awesome in it too!
Forget the washer and dryer! THAT Little GUY in the corner is WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! When is he coming to my house?, and why is he sitting in the corner? At least he isn't nose & toes into it. CUTIE! Pat-2-T
Clayton and I met in Provo while we were both going to school. After only a short 8 weeks, we fell in love and he proposed. We were married 2 months later on August 7th, 2007. I am now staying at home and being a full time mommy, which I LOVE! Clayton works for Attask in Lehi and absolutely loves his job as their IT Administrator. We welcomed our son Zackary on May 5, 2009 and love having him in our home and love him so much! Max joined our family as our "Leap Day Baby" on February 29, 2012 and he is so sweet and happy! Life couldn't be better, and we are excited for what is to come!

Good choice! It is my dream to have an amazing washer and dryer someday.
