My hair isn't quite this gray (yet), and I lack the glasses, but the picture is more because I can't stand to have a post without a picture, and this is about a boy in my class that makes me smile. There is a boy in my class who has been telling me for about a week that he would be gone from Thursday and clear into next week because he's going to Disneyland. So I tell him each time that I'm excited for him, and send him back to his seat. (He would come tell me when I was in the middle of a lesson or talking with another student... Don't think I'm THAT mean of a teacher that I don't care!) :) Well, I had a substitute on Wednesday, and on Thursday, he had left me this note, to excuse himself from class. I will have you notice that there is not one period in this whole letter, because that is the way he wrote it! I am copying this word for word! Spelling/Grammar errors and all! You can still read it, but it's more funny if you see it exactly as I did! It made me laugh. Oh the joys!
(*I do have to make one note. We have jars of objects that we estimate on each week. Whoever gets the closest wins the jar at the end of the week. This week the jar was full of skittles. Also, I have a chart called Top Banana and each day if the kids get to the top they get to enter their name in for a drawing that I do on Fridays for a prize... This will make sense as you read the letter.)
