A Little Advice?

I'm sure as almost every girl out there has felt, I have never really been satisfied with my weight. But after having Zackary, it's been even harder for me. I had more control over myself and my eating habits while I was pregnant! Now I feel ravenous and that I just eat crap. I've tried to do better and limit my treats, but I still just always feel snacky and that I need to be eating. I've been going to the gym everyday, but I just feel like nothing is happening! I realized tonight that I have stayed at the same weight for the past 2 months... the 2 months that I have been going to the gym everyday for! One of my big concerns is, since I'm still trying to nurse Zack some, I don't know just how much of my daily intake to cut out! So.... I need some help. To anyone who has conquered losing weight after a baby, or who have just had successful weight loss at all, I need your help! I feel like I know the basics of what to do, but if there is anyone out there that has some ingenious tips, I'm sick of constantly wanting food and feelin' chubby! Any advice will do. Thanks for your help!

Sorry to say but my big tip is willpower. You can eat a lot and loose weight but you have to snack on veggies, and some fruits. It helps if you already have those things prepared so you can just grab them. Recently I asked my Dr. what I should do to get a few extra pounds off and he suggested Protein bars as a meal replacement. The ones that have around 23grams of protein. Keep taking those yummy prenatal vitamins and you shouldn't have to worry about Zack getting enough nutrients. Good Luck!!

I agree with Krystal . . . have fruits and veggies ready to go for snacks. Also, popcorn is good for me. Also, I don't buy ANY more junk food and then it's not accessible. No more candy, cookies, puddings, cakes, etc. Even if I think I'm getting it for my husband and I won't touch it . . . that never happens. Also, having junk tucked away in the pantry is easier for me than seeing it right there on the counter. I keep my counters clear of food at all times! I have been stuck for a little while too - more than a month. But, being stuck is better than climbing up! keep your chin up and remember . . . it's all will power!

Keep a food log, and eat lots of carrot sticks. Lots and lots of carrot sticks. Also, just because you are staying at the same weight doesn't mean that you aren't getting healthier, especially if you are going to the gym. Muscle does weigh more than fat. Try wrestling Clayton. I think you can take him.

my mom lost 40 pounds on weight watchers. and they even have a plan for nursing moms. you should go and check it out, but everyone has said the right stuff. If you zip out the cakes, and snacks and chips, and all that junk and replace it with vegetables and fruits... and make sure you are getting enough water. Maybe your body went into starvation mode, because it isn't used to doing the things it's doing. :) Just an idea. but, I'd do weight watchers. it's simple, easy and fun to use.
