Our Summer

Boy, it's been a while, but I really want to try and be better about posting more.  If no one else reads this, at least it will be a good record for me to remember!  We had quite the busy summer.  So I think I'll just recap the summer's events, highlighted with some pictures, and then promise to do a lot better.

MAY
In May, we celebrated Zack's 3rd birthday and blessed Max the first weekend of May.  It was so fun to have everyone there and to celebrate both of my boys!  Then we started to pack up and move! We left our little condo of 3 years and moved up to Lehi so that Clayton could be closer to work.  We rent out the condo and we have great tenants and it's working out great!

JUNE
We moved into the new house the first week of June and spent the month just getting everything unpacked and settled in.  Clayton turned the big 27, but other than that, nothing exciting to report!

JULY
July was a big month filled with vacations!  We were able to go to Clear Lake with Clayton's family and had such a fun week boating, wake boarding, tubing, and going out on the Sea-Do! (That was Zack's favorite part! :) Posting Clear Lake pics is always so hard because we take HUNDREDS!  But here is a few..

Then we were able to head to Denver a week later for a reunion with my family.  It was a lot of fun to have EVERYONE together, something that hasn't happened in a while since Tyler just returned from his mission in January.  MaKenzy, Tyler's fiancé then, now wife, was also able to come making the family complete!  It was so fun to see Kacie and Nathan's home and to have them treat us to the joys of Denver.  We were also able to visit Clayton's sister Krystal and their family while we were out there, but forgot the camera that day. :(  But it was a lot of fun seeing everyone!

AUGUST
In August Clayton and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary!  We were fortunate enough to have my parents take our kids for a sleep over so that Clayton and I could go on a date and have the morning to sleep in! :)  We went to Happy Sumo for some sushi, and walked around a Farmer's Market they were having at the Riverwoods.  We then stumbled upon a free Alex Boye concert at the mall while we were waiting for a movie.  So we stayed for the concert a while, and then went and saw the new Batman movie.  It was so fun to have a night to ourselves, but it was fun to see our kids the next morning! :)
We were also able to attend Tyler and MaKenzy's wedding!  We are so excited to have MaKenzy in our family.  It was fun to have us all together.  I'll post those pictures in a separate post! ;) There were A LOT! ;)
After the wedding we had a combined birthday party for Alex and Boston, as they share the same birthday and we all happened to be together.

Yup!  We are actually still alive, and we had an AWESOME summer!  Loved spending time with family and friends, and I promise I will do better to update the world on what the fall brings for us. :)
